NSF Certifies First Bottled Water Client in Cambodia to its Beverage Quality Certification

N.V.C. Corporation Co., Ltd., which manufactures Vital Premium Water, a household water brand across Cambodia, earned certification to ANSI-Accredited Product Certification Body – Accreditation #0216.

Phnom Penh, Cambodia - NSF, a leading global public health and safety organization, has awarded its first bottled water certification in Cambodia to ANSI-Accredited Product Certification Body - Accreditation #0216, the only accredited product certification program for bottled water and beverages. N.V.C Corporation Co., Ltd. (N.V.C Corporation) earned the certification for Vital Premium Water, a nationally recognized and distributed bottled water brand.

Her Excellency Choeung Sokuntheavy, Executive Director of N.V.C Corporation, receives an official certification certificate from DeMarrio Boles, Manager of Food Claims, NSF at NSF’s headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States.

N.V.C Corporation is a Cambodian company that was founded in 2010 and manufactures and distributes food and beverages.

"We are proud to be the first company in Cambodia to earn this prestigious beverage quality certification from NSF,” said Her Excellency Choeung Sokuntheavy, Executive Director of N.V.C. Corporation. “The NSF certification is among the most difficult to obtain, with its rigorous standards and thorough testing. Vital achieving it so smoothly reflects the discipline, commitment, and hard work we've invested since day one. This certification doesn’t just validate the safety and quality of our bottled water today, it also proves that Vital has always upheld the highest standards. The NSF mark on our products presently is a trusted symbol of that excellence.”

NSF’s certification process involves a thorough product and manufacturing facility analysis. The products must be produced in a manufacturing facility that is inspected annually for compliance with international regulations, including the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and European Union (EU). Additionally, the facility must undergo a rigorous annual or biannual audit to verify it meets all certification requirements.

NSF commends N.V.C Corporation for prioritizing quality and safety in its bottled water products and achieving certification to this globally recognized product certification standard,” said Jyoti Bhasin, Managing Director of APAC, NSF. “This is an important step for the local industry, as it will pave the way for other companies in Cambodia to enhance their beverage quality assurance processes and meet international standards, fostering consumer trust and promoting industry growth. We are proud to work alongside innovative companies like N.V.C Corporation to help them achieve quality assurance goals and support products in the global market.”

NSF is the only accredited product certification program that offers analysis for bottled water, including microbiological, chemical and radiological analyses in accordance with national and international regulations.
