NSF Appoints Christine Wright Director of Corporate Development

Wright will lead NSF’s merger and acquisition (M&A) activities to expand its testing, inspection and certification services worldwide

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Global public health organization NSF has appointed Christine Wright Director of Corporate Development. In this new role, Wright will direct and support the acquisition and integration of new operations across all NSF service areas to ensure accountability and follow-through on key initiatives, tasks and goals.

This role is key in supporting NSF’s expansion of testing, inspection and certification services worldwide. Currently operating in over 170 countries, NSF is committed to further expanding its services and technical capabilities as well as strengthening its global laboratory network. In the last few years, NSF has acquired labs in North America, Latin America and EMEA, food safety consulting firms in Canada and EMEA, and auditing firms in EMEA and Australia/New Zealand, and it is continuing to grow.

“Christine Wright brings a wealth of M&A expertise to NSF,” says Mike Walsh, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of NSF international. “Her experience and knowledge of the merger and acquisitions process, as well as of the international business environment, will strengthen our expansion of global service offerings in the food, water, health sciences and consumer products industries.”

Prior to joining NSF, Wright served as the Chief Executive Officer (Management Consultant) of Meridian Advisory Partners, LLC. In this role, she provided M&A corporate finance and project management expertise in the areas of strategic advisory services, corporate planning, due diligence, business integration, turnaround management, investor communications and private equity funding/refinancing. She also served as the lead advisor on buy-side transactions for mid- to large-cap corporations and on sell-side transactions for small to mid-cap corporations.

Before that, Wright was Senior Manager, Mergers & Acquisitions at Altisource/Ocwen where she built out its M&A and Business Integration Department, managing a team of 30 contractors and the operating budget. She has also served as a Manager of Corporate Business Development for Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.

Earlier in her career, Wright held special projects and marketing manager roles at Jack Kahl & Associates, LLC and Manco, Inc./Henkel Consumer Adhesives. She has an MBA from Case Western Reserve University and a B.A. in economics management from Ohio Wesleyan University.
