NSF-ISR Named Certification Body of the Year by IAOB

NSF-ISR, a leading global management systems certification body, has been awarded the IAOB 2022 Certification Body of the Year by the International Automotive Oversight Bureau (IAOB). The award was announced at the AIAG Quality Summit on October 5, 2022.
IAOB Certification Body of the Year is the official program to recognize IAOB Certification Bodies who achieve the high-performance standards necessary to meet IATF and IAOB expectations. NSF-ISR performs audits to the IATF 16949: 2016 Automotive Quality Management System standard, which ensures organizations are creating quality products and performing services in accordance with stringent automotive industry expectations.
“I was energized by the conversations at the 2022 AIAG Quality Summit this week, where the world automotive industry came together to discuss evolving industry trends,” said Pedro Sancha, President and CEO, NSF. “My top three take-aways were that high-quality cars and trucks need high quality people, collaboration across the supply value chain is essential and it all rests on a foundation of trust. At NSF-ISR, we are proud to address those three areas by continuing to attract and develop top talent, driving collaboration with our clients, auditors, and partners, and building trust in the industry with our independent, science-based principles.”
The IAOB’s criteria for this award include:
- Performance complaints
- IATF database accuracy and entry timeliness
- Management of IAOB-issued non-compliances through office and witnessed audits
- Market share growth
- Proper use of remote audits to address COVID restrictions globally
- Innovation and partnership though working with IAOB on new initiatives and pilot programs
“Being named the Certification Body of the Year is a great achievement for NSF-ISR,” said Christie Shields, Director of NSF-ISR’s Specialty Programs. “We place a high priority on superior technical expertise and customer satisfaction and this award helps show that we go a step further for our customers and our industry to provide the highest level of service possible.”
