New Positions Reflect NSF's Commitment to Address Increasing Global Market Needs
Ann Arbor, MI – NSF International today announced three key management appointments that will expand NSF's presence in new international markets.
Tarik Bellahcene has been appointed Managing Director of NSF's Operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Heather Taylor, has been appointed International Marketing Manager. In addition, Ellen Go Yanko has been promoted to Sales and Business Development Manager for the EMEA region.

New Managing Director of NSF's Operations in EMEA
Tarik Bellahcene has been appointed Managing Director of NSF's operations in EMEA. As Managing Director, he will be responsible for developing and implementing short- and long-term strategies to increase growth of NSF's operations and expand the recognition and acceptance of NSF's services in the region.
Tarik has been with NSF for seven years serving as a Certification Program Manager of Water Distribution Systems for the EMEA region. In this capacity, Tarik expanded NSF's services by establishing collaborations with the Centre Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment (CSTB, Science and Technology Centre for the Building Industry), one of Europe's leading research and evaluation centers, and also with CARSO-Laboratoire Santé et Environnement Hygiène de Lyon (LSEHL), the premier institution in France for “Attestation de Conformité Sanitaire” product evaluations.
Prior to joining NSF, Tarik spent four years as a Project Manager for the Water and Wastewater Division of Tractebel Engineering, one of Europe 's largest engineering consultancies, where he was responsible for coordinating projects and technical studies and designs. He has also worked as a Research Engineer for the Hydromechanics Laboratory at the University of Liège in Belgium. Tarik has a degree in Civil Engineering, Hydraulics from the University of Science and Technology in Algeria and a master's degree in Applied Science from the University of Liège. He is fluent in French, English and Arabic, with a basic level of Spanish.

NSF International Marketing Manager
Heather Taylor has been appointed to International Marketing Manager. As NSF's international marketing manager, Heather will be in charge of managing, developing and implementing international marketing and communication programs to create and facilitate sales for all of NSF's programs.
Heather joined NSF in September 2003 and has held several positions within the company, most recently serving as Sales and Marketing Manager at NSF's Brussels office. She led a remote sales team in the EMEA region and played a key role in implementing successful sales & marketing strategies.
Prior to NSF, Heather served as the Sales and Marketing Manager of Brilliant (UK) Ltd, a German domestic lighting manufacturer, and was later promoted to Marketing and Business Systems Manager when the company was acquired by SLi UK Retail Sales, a worldwide lighting manufacturer. She has a bachelor's degree from Swansea University, UK, in French, German and Business Studies and a post graduate Certification of Education in German, French and Physical Education. Heather is fluent in English, French and German, with intermediate levels of spoken and written Spanish and Dutch.

NSF Sales and Business Development Manager
Ellen Go Yanko has been appointed to Sales and Business Development Manager for the EMEA region. In her new role, Ellen will drive sales and manage the sales force by implementing new sales strategies, strengthening sales support and reinforcing customer services in the region. This will include creating, deploying and overseeing sales plans for key programs and service segments and developing strategic alliances with industry groups.
Ellen has worked at NSF for eleven years, serving most recently as Office Manager, European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group (EHEDG) Secretariat, NSF Brussels. She was responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase membership and annual revenue. She also managed the operations of EHEDG, raised advertising sponsorships and promoted events and publications. Concurrently, as Special Projects Coordinator for NSF, she was involved in certification projects for the food, water, and management systems registration programs. Ellen received her bachelor's degree in Communications, with a major in Research, at the University of the Philippines, Diliman in Quezon City. She is fluent in English, French, Dutch and Pilipino with a basic level of Spanish.
